Bio

Daniel Pailes-Friedman is a New York-based artist who has exhibited widely across the United States in both galleries and museums. His work has been shown at the Alexandria Museum of Art in Louisiana, the Monmouth Museum in New Jersey, the Aljira Center for Contemporary Art, and the Ely Center of Contemporary Art, among others.

Pailes-Friedman has presented solo exhibitions at Art Lab Staten Island and the Bonfoey Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. In New York City, his work has been featured at Van Der Plas Gallery, Agora Gallery, and Art Mora Gallery.

He has been represented by and exhibited with Kenise Barnes Fine Art in Larchmont, NY; Owens Contemporary in Santa Fe, NM; M Fine Arts in Boston, MA; Bonfoey Gallery in Cleveland, OH; and Art Resources Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. In addition, he has participated in group exhibitions with The Center for Contemporary Art, Bedminster, NJ, Agora Gallery, NY, and Emerge Gallery,  Saugerties, NY

Pailes-Friedman earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute in 1983.
